ASP® 672

ASP 672 kaolin is a highly beneficiated, fine particle-size grade of aluminum silicate featuring premium brightness. Spray drying helps to control airborne nuisance dust. ASP 672 kaolin is chemically inert and has been specially modified with dispersants for ease of dispersion.

Application: ASP 672 kaolin is designed for use in water-borne, semi-gloss coatings where high whiteness is desired. It provides excellent optical properties for TiO2 extension in a wide variety of polymeric systems. Its neutral pH has a minimal effect on cure rates when compounded into cross-linked polymeric systems. Typical applications include water-borne semi-gloss coatings, mechanical rubber goods, and rubber sealants / adhesives.
